The Retas were launched by Progressive Greetings magazine in 2005, in recognition of the tremendous contribution that retailers both large and small, make to the success of the greeting card industry. Now in their fourth year, The Retas awards ceremony is established as the Summer event for the greeting card community. It brings together the entire £billion+ greeting card industry for an afternoon of celebration.

Plans for The Retas 2008 have already commenced - the awards categories have been finalised (see categories) and the entry form for self-nomination is now online (see how to enter). Tickets are already on sale (see tickets) for The Retas awards event on Tuesday July 8 at The Dorchester Hotel in London.
