The Retas 2008

The Retail Categories

The Retas awards cover the entire retailing spectrum with award categories for all manner of greeting card retailers.This year for the first time The Retas were open to self-nomination by retailers. Retailers were invited to enter their own shop(s).

In addition to the self-nomination entries, PG also canvassed nominations from publishers, reps and agents. These nominated retailers were then sent entry forms and encouraged to enter. All entries and nominations were then correlated and validated to arrive at the winners and finalists.

The Best Cash & Carry and Best Service- Based Wholesaler awards categories were arrived at as a result of nomination and validation.

All independent retail winners of the categories were contenders for The Independent Card Retailer of the Year award.

Greeting Card Retail Employee Of The Year

Retailers were also invited to enter members of their staff for the Greeting Card Retailer Employee Of The Year award by telling us how great their employees are.
